Huddersfield Town are the next club to face the challenge of ending Bournemouth’s unbeaten start to the season, with Scott Parker enjoying an excellent start to his career on the South Coast. Players In-Form

After signing for Blackpool in June, Sonny Carey has had to bide his time for an opportunity to make his EFL debut, but he has impressed Tangerine fans in his first two appearances. On his first start, the winger earned a 7.48 rating in Blackpool’s entertaining 3-2 victory over Reading in midweek. Also impressive in that game was Blackpool forward Jerry Yates, who scored a brace as Blackpool fought back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Yates’ rating of 8.65 reflected how dramatic the game was, rightly earning a sensational score with his incredible impact.

Swansea’s form has improved a lot recently and much of that improvement can be put down to the scoring exploits of Joel Piroe up front. Russell Martin has figured out how to get the best out of the 22-year-old Dutchman - who has an average rating on Fan First of 7.29 - and it was his equaliser in midweek that set Swansea on their way to a stunning comeback victory over West Brom - a team fighting hard to bounce back into the Premier League under Valerien Ismael.

Two other strikers who are having impressive seasons are Coventry’s Viktor Gyokeres and Blackburn’s prolific Chilean striker Ben Brereton-Diaz. Back from his international exploits, Diaz was unable to add to his tally in midweek as Blackburn went down 1-0 away at QPR, but he will be a major threat once again as Blackburn host Reading on Saturday. Meanwhile, Gyokeres will be fancying his chances to keep up his solid 7.27 average this season against bottom club Derby but Wayne Rooney’s men have a decent record this season and without their points deduction they’d be in a far better position than they find themselves.
