Not only did the Black Cats miss out on being top of the league, but it was a day to forget as Bolton thrashed Sunderland 6-0. Wanderers forward Dion Charles was on fire in this match as he scored twice, assisted Oladapo Afolayan's goal, and earned an 8.32 rating. Bolton midfielder Kieran Lee controlled the midfield and gave Sunderland many problems having scored his fifth goal of the season, as well as getting an assist and a 7.65 rating.
It was a great weekend to say the least for Oxford United as they are now in the top six and cruising past Gillingham 2-7 away from home. Despite all four of Cameron Brannagan's goals being penalties, the U's were impressed with his performance and rightly so as he got a respectable 7.74 rating. Billy Bodin, who also impressed many fans on Fan First got his first goal of the season as well as assisting Matt Taylor's goal and earned an 8.49 rating.
Former West Ham midfielder Joe Powell dominated the middle of the park for Burton Albion having been involved in both goals in a 1-2 away victory to Lincoln City. Powell scored to tie the match as well as assisting the winning goal and earned a high 8.24 rating.
