BLACKBURN PUSH FOR AUTOMATICS

Fan First's Championship review from the 17th to the 20th of December featuring – Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough and Fulham


Blackburn Rovers have won their fifth match in a row and are now in third place with only three points below top of the table Fulham after thrashing Birmingham 4-0. Rovers forward Ben Brereton can't stop scoring as he scored a brace and earned a nearly perfect 9.19 rating on Fan First. Another player who was key in Blackburn's victory was German midfielder Reda Khadra as the 20-year-old scored the second goal, controlled the game and earned an 8.79 rating.

Despite losing the match against Huddersfield Town at home in dramatic fashion there were a few Bristol City players that impressed many on Fan First. The Robins forward Antoine Semenyo performed well as the 21-year-old assisted both goals and got a 7.83 rating. Andreas Weimann impressed many Bristol City fans and rightfully so as he scored both goals and got an 8.42 rating.

After going four games without a win, the Terriers earned a 2-3 away victory over Bristol City as Duane Holmes got his second goal of the season just before half time and earned himself a 7.74 rating. Luxembourgish international Danel Sinani scored his third goal of the season as the Terriers forward earned himself an 8.16 rating. Danny Ward played a crucial role in the game despite missing a penalty six minutes into the match, as he scored the third goal, assisted Sinani's goal and earned himself a high 8.42 rating.
